Northeast fisherman win landmark victory for the masses!

January 30th, 2010

A collective effort of fisherman, politicians and an increasingly aware and angry public drove a quick and decisive landmark northeast sea scallop fishery. This victory  promises to open the floodgates of  long needed and overdue change to all U.S. fisheries management, opening new oppurtunities to maximize a critical component our nations food supply. Many believe this is the beginning of the end for a dysfunctional and corrupt fisheries management agency that has destroyed a vital component of coastal communities-fisherman and the working waterfront!

The Gloucester Times did a great job of covering this story, so get the grill fired up for a bounty of healthy and tasty sea scallops and other delicious U.S. caught seafood!
